INARA transforms critical worksite monitoring into a scalable, on-demand service, blending explosion-protected hardware with a cloud-based operator interface.

TEAMS designed a seamless system for real-time oversight, quick deployment, and automated safety documentation across multiple sites.

Making safety monitoring scalable

Critical operations (e.g., confined spaces, shutdown work, hazardous environments) demand continuous oversight, fast reaction, and flawless documentation—often under staffing pressure.
The design goal: make safety monitoring scalable without compromising clarity, compliance, or response speed.

Systemic experience design
Hardware + Software

TEAMS approached the solution as one connected ecosystem: a workplace hub with audio-visual alarming and access control, connected cameras and gas detection, and a remote operator position that unifies live monitoring, communication, and reporting in one workflow. This systemic setup enables reliable supervision across multiple worksites while keeping the operator in control.

Monitoring at scale

We designed the operator experience around fast situational awareness: a configurable overview that supports monitoring many video streams at once, with each tile combining live video with essential status signals (workplace state, alarms, checks, active call). The core interaction principle: recognize, prioritize, act in seconds, not minutes.

From awareness to intervention

When something matters, the operator needs depth without losing context. The detail view brings selected workplaces into focus with 1–4 prioritized video streams and contextual actions (bookmarking, notes, calling, and managing workplace situation updates) while a structured info panel supports decision-making (people, devices, communication, call queue).

Reliable, flexible, and ready for any challenge

The Workplace Hub manages data transfer, access control, and alarms, while camera units and external batteries provide flexibility for extended shifts. The LTE router ensures continuous connectivity, and explosion-protected design guarantees safety. Combined with the cloud-based operator interface, INARA offers a comprehensive, scalable safety solution for businesses.

“Our focus was to make complex safety workflows feel unmistakably clear, so operators can detect, decide, and act with confidence, even across many workplaces at once.”
