Under the guidance of our team, you will be involved in various stages of projects—from initial research to the execution of visual designs, assisting with design tasks and continuously honing your professional skills through practical experience. The Shanghai studio is a bright and welcoming open-plan loft office overlooking Shanghai’s distinctive old neighbourhoods and the backstreets of Peninsula Bay, home to charming cafés and wine bars. Located in the North Bund area near the Suzhou River, we are housed in a newly refurbished red-brick factory building alongside other art and design studios, as well as brands and e-commerce businesses. You are a proactive and talented designer, as well as an excellent team player, committed to delivering successful outcomes for the market. You have a solid understanding of design and development processes involving various stakeholders and are able to drive solutions to fruition. You will work alongside our international, multidisciplinary team on projects across a range of industries, and have the opportunity to experience a fresh approach to product development within our creative environment.

 

The role

  • Support visual content creation and basic content operations for the company’s social media platforms, including WeChat Official Account and Xiaohongshu  
  • Assist designers with packaging design,product labels design, graphic design, and other print-related files  
  • Support team culture initiatives through event material production, as well as basic photography and video shooting  
  • Contribute to branding, packaging, and other graphic design tasks under guidance, including reference collection, design adaptation, and execution support  

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in design  
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design tools  
  • A good sense of layout, graphic expression, and visual communication  
  • The ability to support the execution and refinement of labels, icons, and packaging-related design work based on client or corporate brand guidelines  
  • Interest in social media content, visual storytelling, and design trends, with a willingness to learn across different types of design work  
  • Familiarity with video editing tools or experience with AIGC tools is a plus  
  • Communication skills in both Chinese and English is a plus
