To unlock the full value of data at the hospital and provide valuable information to users, together with Dräger, TEAMS developed two data-based solutions for clinical application.

Actionable insights to optimize processes and improve clinical outcomes.

Alarm History Analytics.

To reduce the stress of multiple alarms at the point of care.

"Alarm Fatigue", the diminishing awareness of alarms due to their enormous number, is one of the greatest threats to hospital patient safety. An average of 350 alarms per day occur on an intensive care bed, from which up to 95% are clinically irrelevant. The stress for patients and nursing staff can have a negative effect on the therapy results and important clinical work processes can be interrupted unnecessarily.

The alarm analysis provides  transparency to systematically reduce the overwhelming number of alarms to ward level, which creates a calmer environment for patients and caregivers.

Actionable insights

The alarm history analytics provides actionable insights from alarms that have occurred at the facility, and enables the systematic optimization of alarm management and personnel assignments.

Distribution and trends

Insights into the distribution and trends of six selected alarms in the hospital or selected nursing unit for two different time periods.

Gas Consumption Analytics.

To optimise the consumption of anesthetic gases.

Volatile anesthetics are part of many surgical procedures. However, they are an important cost factor.

They can also be dangerous for the environment, patients and users.

The Gas Consumption Analysis dashboard provides clinical and economic insights based on the active ingredient consumption of supported Dräger anesthesia machines. Creating transparency with regard to consumption uptake, efficiency, costs and applied fresh gas flows. This gives a reliable basis to improve therapy outcomes and reduce costs at the same time by implementing patient-friendly low- and minimal-flow practices.

Cost and efficiency data

Display of average fresh gas supply and anesthetic gas consumption and uptake per patient & average cost per minute and Intervention function as indicators of economic efficiency.

Consumption and cost visualization

The anesthetic agent consumption, visualizes the consumption and cost for anesthetic used per department.

The potential of data-based insights to improve acute medical care is enormous.

At TEAMS, we are committed to support our clients with our expertise in  design of seamless systems to bring medical tech to the next level.
