TEAMS is an award-winning design firm specializing in global, product-oriented brand development in the areas of industrial design, user experience design and interaction design.

 

Our Amsterdam office is located in the up-and-coming Houthavens district, a neighbourhood in transition where industrial history meets modern design. The environment offers bright rooms, open spaces, and inspiring places for creative exchange and shared ideas.

 

Working closely with our Hamburg office and having the possibility of also working from Hamburg for a short exchange. 

You

As our new User Interaction Intern, you'll work on holistic and agile processes with the TEAM.

Working with a team of designers, you will create and develop visual interfaces to make a product usable and tangible for people. You have the opportunity to bring your design philosophy as well as your own scope for personal responsibility into our collective.

 

  • You must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited school program in industrial or product design.
  • Fluent English is a must. Fluent Dutch is a big plus.

 

What you should bring to the table

  • The creation of consistent design patterns for digital applications comes naturally to you.
  • Imagination, curiosity, empathy, and creativity.
  • An emphasis on user-centric design to deliver a great user experience.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Implementing design and UX methods and conducting workshops with confidence.
  • You know how to justify concept and design decisions.
  • You know your design tools (mainly Adobe & Figma) well.
  • You know what it takes to implement an interface technically.
  • Graphic design experience would be a plus, but not a must.
