At TEAMS & Kearney PERLab, we believe design connects people, systems, and stories. That’s why we are so excited to welcome Ulrich Schweig into his new role as Global Managing Director.
Ulrich’s journey with TEAMS began in 1999, when he joined our Esslingen studio as an industrial designer. From the start, he championed user-centered design, pushing for products that not only work well but truly resonate with the people who use them. In 2005, as Industrial Design Manager, he helped lead the evolution of product portfolios by turning brand values into experiences people could feel, use, and trust.
That same year, Ulrich co-founded TEAMS Hamburg, shaping it into a space where physical and digital design came together with strategic storytelling. Under his leadership, the team delivered impactful solutions across eight industries, always grounded in user needs, market signals, and brand vision.
Now, as Global Managing Director, Ulrich brings a bold and future-focused vision: to evolve TEAMS into a strategic product design agency that delivers design-to-business solutions for a globally connected, systems-driven world. By integrating brand storytelling, systems thinking, and strong collaboration with PERL and Kearney. Ulrich aims to craft meaningful, future-ready product stories to shape a better world through design.
