The wireless Dräger X-node is a newly launched, cross-industrial gas concentration measurement and analysis system that provides continuous monitoring
while also measuring the ambient temperature, humidity, air pressure, and 3-dimensional orientation.
With Dräger's New Business Development and UX-Team we were able to reflect on Dräger's high-quality standards and translate these into interconnectivity, above-average durability, and user-centered functionality. Dräger X-node is operable wirelessly, making it easy to live-connect to existing databases and smartphones.
Our tasks included 3D CAD engineering of the housing, design realization and the light guide calculation. We redirected the light beam path of the vertically emitting LEDs located on the built-in circuit board into the horizontal light bands.
