iF Design Award Awarded Design Product Design User Interface Design

Every year, the iF DESIGN AWARD recognizes outstanding design and awards one of the most important seals of quality in the world. Awarded in Germany since 1953, the iF label is a reliable sign of good design for consumers and the design community.

The iF Award 2021 winners of each category were published early in April, and the official ceremony takes place on May 10. We are excited for the recognition of our client's projects, result of collaborative work with TEAMS.

Check out the TEAMS Awards page to read more about the iF 2021 awarded projects:

• Dräger Design System, Category: User Interface (UI).

• Hitachi air conditioning wall controller, Category: Product.

• Bosch GWS 24 JZ / Angle grinder, Category: Product.

"After three years of intensive collaboration, we are happy that our client Dräger Safety has been awarded. Together with the UX-Design Team at Dräger Safety, we developed a digital design system based on Dräger’s brand identity, which, together with the physical, networked products, ensures a holistic user experience. The system is the design basis for a multitude of new digital product developments, and a tool to strengthen people, processes and brand values.”

Simon Koch, Art Director IxD at TEAMS Hamburg.

"The goal was to strike a harmonious balance between the inviting product form through an iconic wave shape and an intuitive UI flow to create a seamless and effortless experience for the user."

Nikhil Nair, Lead Designer at TEAMS Shanghai.

"Product itself is the best medium to communicate the brand.
Besides creating the unique product experience of cyclone technology in power tools for the first time, our design also represents the brand's character across the product family, which can win the continuous trust from users both in function and form."

Sitong Wang, Industrial Designer at TEAMS Shanghai.
