Although always providing an essential function, the chief differentiation
between products is the character of the product and not the functional features;
the look and feel that it conveys to the user's own perception of themselves.

The idea for the unusal format of this mixer for AEG
came from our ergonomic studies of powertools. The user has much better control
of the mixer when turning heavy dough if the user's forefinger is directly
above the center of gravity. It also feels lighter in the hand and transmits
less vibration.
The mixer includes a self-retracting cord for tidier storage and easier cleaning.
Working with Robinson Home Products we created a new
line of products for the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). The goal was
that each of the products was to be made in its optimal materials and form,
while also fitting into a comprehensive brand-wide look.
The CIA was closely involved with every stage of the process and are proud
of the resulting set of high-end tools, which have now had excellent feedback
from consumers and retailers.
Silit are renowned throughout Europe for their quality
pots and pans. Expanding their product range more recently they now offer
a number of innovative and unique utensils with a very high end feel. We have
designed Silit's products for over 35 years.
Leifheit have worked with TEAMS Design for over 50 years. They are a household
name in Europe, representing high quality in over 90 non-electrical products
ranging from step-ladders to kitchen utensils, drying racks to salad bowls.
In the US they are known mostly by professional cooks who value their quality
materials and ergonomics.
