Engineering

One differentiating factor about TEAMS is that all our 50+ industrial design staff are required to have a sophisticated knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems. Some are trained engineers, but still have a predominant role as industrial designers.

This means that we can bring in mechanically innovative concepts in at the start of projects that otherwise didn't foresee engineering scope being necessary.

While innovative ideas can come from our mechanical know-how, many items we design still need specialist knowledge in the detail development stages. Rather than having 'generalist' engineers on staff for this purpose, we have a range of specialist partners that we work with for specific tasks.

Each of these is an expert in their field, so allowing us to couple our specialist industrial design work with non-compromised specialist engineering work.
