TEAMS has gained an excellent reputation for designing commercial equipment
of all kinds.
Tactical integration of useful features into the equipment is often a key
source for differentiation on the marketplace. Cost constraints are typically
tighter in this field and production volumes are relatively low.
However there is always room for production cost reduction while also improving
on the functional and visual aspects of each product.
This is a concept fork-lift truck that combines innovative
technology and improved user requirements. Uniquely, the cabin rises with
the load, thus optimizing visibility.
Many features were included in this design, including a driver logging system,
automatic safety barrier, telescopic fork shaft, interchangeable rear battery,
extending wheel base, and an intuitive joystick control arm.
When driving the driver can raise the cabin to allow visibility over the
load. Rear visibility is also improved using a rearview camera, which projects
onto the front windshield when reversing.
This design for Castrol was to replace the rudimentary
55 Gallon drum and pump with a more practical dispenser for oil change scenters
and workshops.
It holds up to 90 gallons and includes the pump, a hose reel and an oil drainage
tray at the top, as well as being easier to steer through a crowded garage.
We also design capital goods equipment, large-scale
machinery that our knowledge of production techniques and ergonomics is put
to the test.
The pictured packaging machine has an ordered layout, easy interaction, and
a valuable visual impression that describes the high quality mechanicals.
This walk-behind pallet truck features optimal ergonomics
with intuitively positioned and shaped controls on the glove-friendly steering
column.
We have designed a range of pallet trucks for Still ranging from ride-on
pallet trucks and self-guiding vehicles
Understanding the requirements of an industrial environment
helped design this automated cleaner for Karcher. Similar to an automated
dolly truck it follows tracks on the floor and has sensors to avoid collision.
