Meike Koldorf and Oliver Keller took part in the June 30 – July 1, 2016 conference Design, Develop, Experience Conference hosted in Dresden’s Albrechtsberg Palace and the "Palais im Großen Garten." The event, hosted for the third year in a row, serves as an opportunity for scientists and practitioners to exchange ideas in product development and design.

Design is More Than Just Good Form

During the round of presentations, Meike and Oliver presented on the topic of brand strategic design, a method that infuses products with the perfect language. They explained that design is not only about form; but also about product language. And it is through form that a product can communicate its message. Going into more depth, Meike and Oliver presented a strategic context in the connection of strategic brand design and product development. They also highlighted the importance of better planning, precision, and passion as a way to create better results. Design can address the client even more precisely.

The valuable exchange ended with an excellent evening event in the Albrechtsberg Palace.
