IDSA Housewares Section | The Real Story Behind the Buying Power of Women

When you're worn out from browsing miles of booths and eating too many samples at the 2012 International Home & Housewares Show, take a break with the IDSA Housewares Section.

On Monday March 12, the Housewares Section will host a discussion panel about global trends in female purchasing power and how it affects the design of housewares in the marketplace.

Moderated by Susan Fabry, senior design strategist at Continuum, the panel will include:

  • Marianne Grisdale, creative manager at TEAMS Design and IDSA Housewares Section chair
  • Alice Jandrisits, director of research and design at Red Fusion Studios
  • Tania Aldous, global director of industrial design at World Kitchen
  • Doris Wells-Papenek, principal of Tailored Learning Tools
