TEAMS Design Shanghai is looking for a Senior Product Designer to take charge of projects from research into final 3D design. A strong sense for international brands, the ability to understand consumers, and the ability to create suitable innovative ideas are key. We're looking for superior design skills that can develop products that are exciting and fashionable according to latest consumer and technology trends. Projects include UI, POS, packaging, and branding developments as well as technical solution-finding. The Senior Product Designer should have good analytical and communication skills and be exceptionally creative.
Responsibilities:
- Be the main designer creating products, product families, UI and branding strategies
- Work closely with marketing, engineers, and other team members on local and international projects
- Coordinate the project leaders and communicate with clients, other branches, and partners
Requirements:
- Over 3 years working experience as a product designer
- Good at communicating ideas and solutions by sketching
- Excellent at 3D modelling
- Solid technical understanding
- Ability to think on your on feet
- Good overall communication skills
- Able to present ideas and designs
- English proficient, native Chinese speakers preferred
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design or equivalent
- Project leader or project management experience preferred
- Experience with (large) medical product design is a plus

TEAMS Hamburg is seeking a highly skilled industrial design intern. The internship duration will be about 6 months and will begin between July and October, 2012.
Interns gain insight and support our team in the process of multidisciplinary ID and PD development, ranging from consumer to capital goods. Interns will provide some support to our transportation design team, as well.
